F2 282 Ride with Tushingham Thunderbird 6.5m and 36 fin.

The NE winds just keeps on blowing and not easing until next Tuesday I think, after having a rest day yesterday I was keen to get out on the last day of the month, making May my best of the year with 9 sessions covering 298.50 miles, still probably down on previous years! With low water at 3.20 I was in no hurry so could do my exercises, indoors today as the cloud shows no sign of clearing. I left home around mid-day dropping Mag off at Jacobs Ladder for her daily walk arriving at The Dip still not sure whether fin or foil, Andrew Marshall was already out on the fin in around 20 knots of wind and the sea looked pretty flat so went for the same set-up at Monday which again worked OK. Again, fairly similar to Monday with the sea being big out but certainly improved at low water smoothing right of and I increased a few year PB?s including a best average, mile and hour and my gybing was much better than Monday too:) Al Parker arrived, driving from Cambridge as I was about to pack up, he had rigged 6.4 and with the sea flatter I decided to do a few more miles, in the end doing 35 for the session before heading for home.
Hoping to start the new month with a session tomorrow but not sure yet what to do, an early trip to the Stour or an afternoon session at The Dip???
Was pleased to get a pic on ITV, s About Anglia too, good day:)
